Norway Hit by Bomb and Shooting Terror Attacks
Over 90 people are suspected to have been killed by two terror attacks in Norway on July 22nd, 2011.
First, a bomb exploded in downtown Oslo near the prime minister's office. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-14252515. As of 16:54 ET on July 22nd, 16 people have been reported to have been killed.
Just hours later, a man dressed in police uniform opened fire at a youth camp, reportedly killing over 80 people. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-14254260.
One person, 32-year old Norwegian Anders Behring Breivik, has been arrested in connection with the attacks. He is reported to have admitted to having carried out the attacks, and is expected to appear in court on Monday, July 25th, where he would explain the motives behind his actions. It is uncertain whether the court session will be open to the public.
